- Cape Overberg
In the Overberg you will discover the wild flowers as you experience the Overbergs winter floral displays. These floral jewels embrace mountains, valleys and coastal areas. The Overberg is home to an immense diversity of wild flowers and fynbos, many which are unique to the region.It is during winter that the less travelled roads are bordered by a colourful array of flowers. The many botanical gardens, parks and nature reserves exhibit these special flowers throughout the winter months.

- Cape Garden Route
The Garden Route is an important part of the Cape Floral Kingdom - the smallest of the world’s six floral kingdoms and the only floral kingdom that is completely confined within the borders of a single country. Here, in a narrow coastal strip that’s never more than about 100 km wide, you’ll find more than 6500 species of indigenous plants – many of which (like the gladiolus and pelargonium) have provided the basis for vast, international horticultural industries.

- Klein Karoo
Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. Here ostriches are found in great numbers and the region produces the best feathers, leather products and ostrich meat world wide. But the world’s biggest bird is just one of the many attractions in this area of interesting contrasts.
This small, safe town is the commercial hub of the greater Klein Karoo region (encompassing Prince Albert, De Rust and Calitzdorp) and is situated in a beautiful valley between the Outeniqua- and Swartberg Mountains.

- Cape West Coast and Cederberg
Crayfish, Flowers, Citrus, Rock Art, Rooibos tea and Wine
The West Coast is a drier area bordering on the cold Atlantic Ocean. During the months of August and September the landscape emerges in a riot of colour as the spring flowers bloom after the winter rains. Leaving Cape Town, take the R27 to Velddrif. Stop off at the popular Langebaan Lagoon (a popular summer resort) and West Coast National Park where 50 000 migratory birds can be seen in the summer. The National Park contains 40% of the earth's remaining sandveld fynbos.
